How To Make A Side Twist Fishtail Braid
How To Style :
Step 1 : Begin by creating a deep side part. Gather a section of hair twisting away frm your face.
Step 2 : Grab a couple more sections, working your way down. ( LIKE A FRENCH TWIST ). Combine with the first section and continue, twisting away from your face. Then Pin into place with a bobbi pin.
Step 3 : Grab a small section of hair. this can be the ends of the pieces you twisted together. Then Move the rest of your hair to the other side, to keep it out of the way for the next step.
Step 4 : Braid the section. I'm doing a fish tail, but you can modify it . THhen tie the end with a clear elastic band. and your done!
Needle point nails
Step 1 Start with a base color. I chose black so that the colors would pop. White would also be a great fit for spring!
Step 2 Follow the pattern I illustrated above. Start with GOLD x’s.
Step 3 Next one WHITE x to help the center “pop” .
Step 4 LIGHT PINK for the inner petals.
Step 5 DARK PINK for the outer petals.
Step 6 DARK GREEN for the darker leaves.
Step 7 Next, you’ll carry the dark green petals over to the middle finger.
Step 8 Add some additional LIGHT/BRIGHT GREEN x’s for the lighter leaves.
Step 9 Same colors will be used on the pinky.
Step 10 Add a quick drying topcoat once your x’s have dried!

Step 1. Start my working a small amount of the balm through dry hair.
Step 2. For Anna’s style we created nine braids total. Start by braiding each side towards the back.
Step 3. Create three braids on either side of your head, and three braids in the back.
Step 4. Secure each braid with a clear elastic.
Step 5. Using your bobby pins, take the three braids from one side and twist them together, pinning in place behind your head.
Step 6. Repeat with the other side, leaving the remaining braids loose.
Step 7. Gather the three remaining braids and bring them up and over where the two gathered sides meet, tuck and pin with bobby pins, being sure to hide the elastics.

Step 1. Using your curling iron, curl all over, being sure to direct the curls away from your face. Spritz with hairspray.
Step 2. Determine the placement of your headband and slip it over the crown of your head, pin into place.
Step 3. Starting from the front section, begin twisting and tucking sections of hair up and over the headband, it should start resembling a crown.
Step 4. Continue twisting and tucking, being sure to fill in any gaps.
Step 5. If you have very short hair in the back, use your comb to hold the hair in place while you blast with hairspray.
Step 6. Set the style with hairspray.

Step 2. Clip this section of hair out of the way and, using your curling iron, curl the remainder of your hair.
Step 3. Curl the front side section away from your face, spritz all over with hairspray.
Step 4. Un-clip the front section and, using your curling iron, curl it up and away from your face. It may take a few tries to get all those little pieces curled!

Step 7. Decide on placement and pin into place using your bobby pins. Set with hairspray.

Zipper Braids at the Barre
To Prep: You'll need a brush, a pony tail holder and basic french braiding skills. Optional: Two elastic headbands.
Step 1-2: Tip your head upside down and comb through your hair thoroughly. Since we're braiding, it's good to have every last knot out.
Step 3: Start a french braid at the nape of your neck. Because the braid loosens up a lot when you flip back up, you want it pretty tight. Continue french braiding until you get to the crown of your head.
Step 4: While holding the braid firmly in place, gather all the rest of your hair and pull up into a high topknot.
Step 5-6: Add an elastic headband or two for flair. I like to use two and space them apart.
Rock that zipper braid with a bun while you're tightening your core in your Physique 57 class. Your hair will be cute enough to wear out for coffee with girlfriends afterwards!

The Twisty Updo
Hi guys!! Here you have my very first Hair Tutorial!! YIPPIE! I've been wanting to post tutorials and DIY's on my blog for sooooooo long. I'm overjoyed that I'm finally getting started.
For my first tutorial, I chose the carefree updo I wore to a wedding a couple of weeks ago. So many of you requested a tutorial, that I decided to give it a try! You can also try this hairdo as a half-do instead (I wear it like this all the time!). I hope you all like this tutorial and find it useful ;)

A braided crown
Step2. Braid the two ponytails, and secure each with a small rubber band.
Mermaid tail braid
Step2-4. Braid each section, and tie the end with an elastic band. You'll want to do what's called a "Dutch braid." For a normal braid, you take the outside section and cross it IN FRONT of the middle section. A Dutch braid is the opposite: the outside section goes BEHIND the middle section. It's important to do the braids this way so that they'll look seamless when when you connect the two sections later.
